2K’s PAX Announcement is Duke Nukem Forever
The world stood still, Friday 6pm in the UK, waiting for a stream to go live on air and for 2k Games to reveal…Duke Nukem Forever.
People attending PAX this weekend will get the opportunity to get hands on with the game before anyone else in the world, lucky people! (I’ve heard that this game has been in development for a while). They have yet to release any press assets for us to put up but will have all the details up on XG247 as soon as we can get them. The game is being developed by the guys are Gearbox Software who have been working on it behind the scenes for the past 3 years.

Black Ops Trailer at Half-Time (ENG vs BUL)
During tonight’s ongoing football battle between England and Bulgeria you’ll be seeing a special “Network Premiere” trailer of Call of Duty: Black Ops during the ‘half-time show’ of adverts. We expect this to be the first of many Black Ops adverts which will plague our tv screens on the run up to the release of Black Ops in November.
So tonight on ITV1, just tune in for the trailer and then go play some more Call of Duty. We’ll drop the advert up on the net as soon as we can.
An in depth look at the Kinect Update
We had a chance to sit down with Robin Burrowes and a have a play around with the upcoming Kinect dashboard update heading towards Xbox’s sometime towards the release of Kinect on November 10th.
He showed us the new avatar marketplace, movies, how you can control everything from your couch and the new video chat feature which will become cross-platform with Windows Messenger on the PC in the new year. These aren’t all the features you can expect out of the update, we were informed that there will be more to be announced.
Interview: Call of Duty: Black Ops (Josh Olin)
We got a chance to see the latest build of Call of Duty: Black Ops at good old Cologne and then moment later grill Josh Olin for some questions. He hung on tight to the multiplayer elements which were announced yesterday, however he did let us in on the details of expected PC support as well as the chance to kill your enemies in all new ways, mainly with an RC bomb, nasty.

Wager your livelyhood in Call of Duty: Black Ops

Preview: Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood @ Gamescom 2010
At this year’s Gamescom we got a chance to see the latest build of AC: Brotherhood, we can confirm it is looking great. We sat in for a 15min demo presentation about some of the mission structure that will be in the game as well as a brand new ‘RTS’ style element which we’ve never seen before, I don’t think anyone saw it coming!

Xbox360 transforms your d-pad! As well as desaturation.
For those of you who have been complaining about the “bloody d-pad on the xbox”, your dreams are about to come true in November (Only for the US, February for the UK – damn it!)
Sir Major Nelson announced that those wizz kids in the labs have worked out how to fix your problems, by simply spinning the d-pad to a different setup whenever you need to! With a simple twist, the controller switches form.
Also they have given the standard controller a black and grey look, they’ve even desaturated the X,Y,B and A buttons (not to our liking). Take a look at what Larry has to offer above.
