thisweekonthenewswire

Thie week we had: some great weather, some horrible weather, some great weather again, a new game involving an egg-shaped ball announced, some great new trailers, some new DLC for the world's biggest gaming franchise and we took a look into our crystal ball to see what the future may hold for gaming! Let's get started then!

Also this week, we had the thorny issues of hacking, jailbreaking, denial of service attacks and KY Jelly and pizza deliveries all in one story! This was, of course, the story revolving around the recent attacks on Sony by the "hacktivism" group Anonymous. There are stories all over the place, some with facts, some with speculation, what to believe though eh..? The story is still changing all the time and so this coming week (once it's hopefully over) XG247 will be bringing you all the facts in one place, to save all the confusion!

As for the last week, this is how it went down for us...

Brace yourselves (and your online wallets) for the next Call Of Duty: Black Ops map pack! Not many details just yet but the bit that we have you can find right here!

For all you fans of cauliflower ears, bruises and the egg-shaped ball, a new rugby title got announced...but what world-wide , international, New Zealand-based event could it be we wonder...?

Upcoming shooter BRINK got a great new trailer, showing off the various abilities you can have and control!

XG247 cast a curious eye forward in this week's Top Ten Tuesday feature: The Future

Aperture Science decided to let us in on some new technology of theirs too, in the form of the new turrets appearing in Portal 2

We went and got the skinny on all things Crunchtime as Alex chatted with Will Templeton about all things Dare To Be Digital
