We at XG247 are very much looking forward to Portal 2 and so we has a great time on the NewsWire this week as our inboxes were full to the brim of Portal 2 goodness from those lovely people over at Valve. We had Aperture Science CEO Cave Johnson trying his best to pitch the latest fashion accessory to us, some very unexpected rumours of early release, news on the musical aspect of this year's sequel AND we also found out what all the fuss was about surrounding the recent countdown clock that had appeared online for the title! Wowee! A lot of Portal 2 goodness there for you to sink your teeth into!

We had news that Halo Waypoint will receive a new update to include full integration between Xbox Live and Windows 7 phones AND a new Motion Comic to accompany it
And, like the cherry on top of the proverbial NewsWire cake, new rumours surrounding Grand Theft Auto 5 were revealed, including a potential leak of it's release date!
