Randy Pitchford to hit up a Q&A at BAFTA
BAFTA do treat us computer game folk rather kindly. So it comes as no surprise but with sheer delight that Randy Pitchford of Gearbox Software is coming for a Q&A on his studios latest release, the legendary Duke Nukem Forever - due to hit our stores June 10th.
No idea who he is? Well read his rather 'killer' CV:
Since co-founding Gearbox in 1999, Randy has also directed, produced and/or was executive producer for the games Half-Life: Opposing Force (1999, PC), Half-Life: Blue Shift (2000, PC), Half-Life (2001, PS2), Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (2004, PC), 007 James Bond: Nightfire (2002, PC), Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (2002, PC), Halo: Combat Evolved (2003, PC) and Brothers in Arms (multiplatform, 2005).
It's a great opportunity to ask the man who's been involved in three of gaming's best selling franchises how they do it and that opportunity is now here. Fans should be getting rather excited!
We'll be looking forward to seeing how the Duke is getting on in the Next-Gen world on May 11th in London and you can too. Just visit the BAFTA website here to find out more.
[Tickets are on sale for £5 a pop - don't miss out!]
