Metro: Last Light’s Multiplayer will be built by 4a Games
The recently announced Metro: Last Light will be the first Metro game to feature mutliplayer, this will be built by 4a Games.
At a recent preview event where the game was shown off to press, we got a chance to speak to the game's 'Communication Lead' Huw Beynon. We were the first to ask if the game had multiplayer in a room full of silence, with the reply being a simple answer:
Huw Beynon: "Yes, Metro Last Light will feature multiplayer and will be some what different from all your 'standard' shooters out there."

We thought it would be a good question to ask if they are working with any other THQ developers to work on the multiplayer of Metro: Last Light (i.e Homefront developers Kaos Studios). Huw Replied:
HB: "Metro Last Light is built with the 4a Engine, a sophisticated engine which is built with lighting and destruction in mind, we are increbily happy with what we have got and we'll be using that for the multiplayer."
"We aren't really talking about what will be in the multiplayer but it will make full use of the world of weaponry we have available to us. All will be revealed later..."
Interesting stuff: we will inform you of any more news, once we have it!
