Gearbox reward for 10 year Duke Nukem pre-order
Duke Nukem Forever's developer (well, final, final developer), Gearbox, have rewarded the patients of a customer who kept his pre-order ticket almost ten years since it was purchased.
Many Duke fans cancelled pre-orders, received refunds, lost receipts or just plain threw them away. However, Slash000 is not one of those. He kept hold of his pre-order, which was bought in 2001, and Game Stop honoured it. Good News all round!

That there is a motherload of goodies. With Duke getting a slight pounding in the reviews section since launch, Gearbox's gesture could be seen as a way to soften a man's disappointment after a long 10 year wait. That, or Gearbox are just really good guys. They did bring back to life a game long thought to be uber-vapour-ware - so I'm guessing it's the latter.
