Microsoft releases software development kit beta for Kinect
Microsoft has released a BETA version of its software development kit used to create software for it's Xbox Kinect.
Although Kinect modifications and applications have been around since its launch they have up to this point relied solely on unofficial development kits gained by reverse engineering the Kinect. Hopefully this latest release will result increased technical support and opportunities for would be developers. The kit is only available for Windows 7 and comes in both 32 and 64 bit variants.
