Burnout CRASH! announced
Whenever a Burnout game is announced I worry a little. I love the crashing and the mayhem and I always worry they'll mess it up somehow but when the first line of a press release reads:
"Traffic got you down? Blow it up!"
You know the high action isn't going anywhere. You all look confused, that must be because you have no idea what game I'm on about. I'm on about Burnout CRASH!. CRASH! is the incoming downloadable title from Criterion and EA that is taking a step away from the latest Burnouts and giving the fans what they want by "bringing the series' fan-favorite Crash mode to the forefront". As ever with Crash Mode, you'll rack up cash for smashing stuff up, causing pile ups, blowing things up and generally breaking the highway code.
The Autolog feature we've seen in other games will be gracing CRASH! and allowng users to:
"connect, compete and compare high scores to earn the master of disaster crown, as well as use the all new Autolog Challenges feature to go head to head with their friends."
Kinect will be raising its head for Xbox users in a game mode where the only information we've been given is that "two teams use gestural controls to play on one television in a party battle". No idea how that'll work though.
Keep an eye out for Burnout CRASH! towards the end of this year for XBLA and the PSN.
