Prepare to platform, it’s our Rayman Origins Preview!
"One of my earliest gaming memories is playing Rayman. It was some maths spin off where not only were the later levels devilishly constructed, whilst you tried to nail each jump you had to worry about maths at the same time. Christ was that hard – but there’s a large community of people out there who are wondering what the hell I’m going on about with this Rayman jumping lark. They’d be surprised to learn that before Rayman was about Rabbits it was about platforming. Jumping and hovering with your hair (I know it’s mental, just run with it) were one half of the mechanics, punching things with a floaty hand was the other. In retrospect that sounds like some sort of drug induced dream but no, it’s just the bare bones of one of video games great franchises that has evolved and grown time and time again."
