Even UK retail store GAME expects new hardware very soon.
The UK retail store GAME has recently seen a drop in £558.8million sales this year (in the six months to July 31st), they go on to blame a tough economic climate as well as the slow development of 'new hardware'.
The store chain is looking for a "solid Christmas" after reporting a jump in half-year losses (anounced on Tuesday), as they look forward to big sales from the usual AAA suspects that are hitting the shelves from now untill December.
They're aware of a cyclical low point for the industry however they are more and more pointing the finger towards the focus on new hardware (and consoles) heading to shelves soon.
