Bioware explain how Mass Effect 3′s multiplayer will affect the singleplayer.
Yesterday Bioware announced Mass Effect 3 will have a multiplayer feature and today they threw a load of details all over the internet.
The co-op aspect of Mass Effect 3 will affect your singleplayer campaign and it'll feature a unique character. Before you cry and tear down your Commander Shepard posters you'll be happy to hear that the co-op mode is completely optional, it'll just make your fight against the Reapers easier if you play through it.
Bioware's Chris Priestly said the following about introducing a multiplayer mode to the Mass Effect franchise:
"Mass Effect 3 is the best place for us to introduce multiplayer through co-op because of the premise of the game - all out galactic war"
The XG247 office is currently full of adult males squealing like little girls with excitement at the thought of co-oping the Mass Effect universe.
