Reckoning sequel may be on the horizon
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is the upcoming RPG hitting UK shelves next year and it's going to be big. The dev team want you to walk away going "that Reckoning is cool" and with the lead designer of both Morrowind and Oblivion as its executive designer I reckon it will do.
In a recent interview with Reckoning's art director, Todd McFarlane, we asked whether there was a sequel to Reckoning in the distance and he had a pretty interesting answer.
XG247( Sam Clay): Is Reckoning going to become a series?
Todd McFarlane: I assume most people who go into making game don’t go in going “this is the first and only, everything is going to be mediocre, nobody’s going to buy it and we’re done”. Someday if you do your job right you might get a 3 or a 4 at the end of your title.
It seems that a Reckoning sequel may emerge if the developers "do their job right", from what we've seen it looks like Reckoning will be an impressive game, but only time will tell if a Reckoning 2 is around the corner.
