The Lord of the Rings: War in the North. Exclusive OnLive UK demo
OnLive has annouced that a full-featured demo of the long-awaited The Lord of the Rings: War in the North will be available today for free, only on OnLive.
The demo will be available via a small browser download for PC, Macs and HDTVs sporting the OnLive Game System. The demo is available for the three weeks up until the full game launches in 3 weeks on the 25th November and will contain all features of the full game, including multiplayer co-op.
Players can immediately take heroic roles in the rich and iconic world of Middle-earth. Playing as Human, Elf or Dwarf, players can team up with friends online and take on Sauron’s forces as a band of uniquely skilled allies in a hitherto untold chapter of the War of the Ring. The game tells the story of a desperate battle to preserve the North from Sauron’s far-reaching hand, bringing to life a tale only hinted in the films and books. Delivered as a rich and engaging co-op action role-playing game, this is the untold story of the War in the North, and of the heroes who fought there.
