Bryan Williams talks clipping.

"Good Evening Wrestling fans" - Many of you will know about the issue that plagues the wrestling video game world, the magical instances of clipping and stuff going a little odd. People falling through ropes, slipping off tables and a bunch of strange movements are just a few of these moments to admire.

With every wrestling game release, you'd hope that they'd of fixed it by now? - So we asked the question - so you don't have to! Have you guys addressed ongoing clipping issues?

In a recent interview with the game's Lead Gameplay Designer, Bryan Williams, I dropped the clipping question in:

XG247 (Sam Clay): You've sometimes had problems with clipping and strange animations. Are those days long gone or are they still present in the game?

Bryan Williams (Lead Gameplay Designer, WWE 12): They are greatly [x3] reduced, I can't sit here and say that some weirdness that might occur because then I'd be a liar, every single game has some weird things that might happen.

What I can say is that it is a VAST improvement over last year's game, as far as the clipping goes, we've greatly reduced it. Thanks to the Havoc engine to help with our collision boundaries. This game definitely looks and plays smoother than previous titles.

You'll be hard pressed to find any weird instances of clipping this year's game. Mark my words.

XG247: So how would you be able to kill this problem? Can you get rid of it completely?

BW: Yeah, it is something we can address, if the game was to come out every 3 years then we'd be able to correct every single instance and get it looking perfect. However I don't think fans would be able to wait that long for their next WWE fix!

It was really awesome to get a genuine reply out of this. The game hits store shelves really really soon, and it actually looks miles better than last year's game. Graphically it's stunning.
