Free Xbox LIVE Gold trial this weekend
Microsoft, as part of the Big Indoors, will be giving Xbox LIVE users a free trial of Gold this weekend 9th to 11th December.
Amongst all the other Gold benefits, users will also be offered movie deals and free content through Zune Video throughout the weekend. A free preview of The Hangover Part II, as well as 40% off the original Hangover, Green Lantern and The Bourne Identity will be available.
Microsoft are also giving the chance to win the Xbox Christmas Entertainment Package; which includes a Samsung TV, an Xbox Kinect bundle, 8000 MS points and "much more".
With the recent dashboard updates, it's a good time to check out Gold for free. Sky, DEMAND 5, 4oD, LOVEFiLM, Blinkbox, MUZU.TV, MSN VIDEO, YouTube, Crackle, VEVO, SCREENRUSH and Dailymotion will all be accessible as part of the free trial.
The free trial starts midday on the 9th of December ending at midnight on the 11th.
