Exciting news from Microsoft! Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party and Xbox LIVE Must Have Games are both being brought back due to the heavy demand from fans.

Xbox Live Arcade House Party begins on February 15 and will deliver four back to back releases of some of the best downloadable games, with one title being released per week. The games are:

Alan Wake's American Nightmare (Microsoft Studios): A brand new experience for fans of Alan Wake, this game sees Alan fighting back against the herald of darkness, the foul Mr Scratch. A brilliant new storyline, great new enemies and a beautiful Arizona backdrop, combined together to make the greatest Alan Wake experience yet.

I Am Alive (Ubisoft): One man struggles for survival a year after an apocalyptic event wiped out humanity. Faced with an insecure and dying world, he searches endlessly for his long-lost wife and daughter. Survive the end of the world, climb higher to find breathable air and untouched resources. Discover a changed human condition, with armed gangs and victims in need.

Nexuiz (THQ): The Kavussari and the Forsellians have been waging war for centuries. A fragile truth is stopping the deaths of thousands, but their seething disgust for each other has them pitting their best warriors against the other in armed arena combat. These episodes of lethal combat are broadcast throughout the galaxy, seen as a great form of entertainment. An arena-based first-person shooter, you must defeat your enemies in an ever changing environment where you can alter the rules of the match and change the laws of physics.

Warp (EA): Warp is a puzzle-based stealth action game where players take on the role of Zero. This loveable but oh-so deadly orange alien has been captured by the villainous Commander and imprisoned in his underwater headquarters. Zero must escape using his impressive arsenal of alien abilities - warp, frag, echo, swap and launch.

Xbox LIVE Must Have Games kicks off in early February, brings some of the biggest names in mobile games to Xbox LIVE for Windows Phone. One game is being released each week, and they are:

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (Electronic Arts): Drive up-to twenty precision-performance cars across twenty-four day and night tracks. Break your limits by competing in a total of forty-eight total Cop and Racer Career Events. Collect bounties, and rise to the top.

Toy Soldiers: Boot Camp (Microsoft Studios): Bringing the fun and addictive shooting gallery mini-games from Toy Soldiers: Cold War, you can wage war on a tiny scale in this fun little game.

Bullet Asylum (Microsoft Studios): Annihilate all in your path in this insane arcade shooter. Bullet Asylum brings you an insane amount of firepower, vibrant graphics and masses of alien hordes to destroy. Be blown away by Bullet Asylum.

Chickens Can’t Fly (Microsoft Studios): Countless hours of fun await you as you discover just exactly what chickens are capable of. This game will see you falling down an experimental pit, avoiding obstacles, using power-ups and power-downs, gathering corn, and making it through to the end.

Splinter Cell Conviction (Gameloft): Renegade agent Sam Fisher is back, to fight a corrupted secret agency to get his daughter back. Run, jump, fight and shoot using a handgun, a shotgun, an AK-47 assault rifle and a bazooka, or remain stealthy using the environment. The choices are endless, as you don't follow anyone's rules but your own.

These are definitely some games to look forward to.
