Notch claims Minecraft has reached twenty million registered users
The creator of Minecraft and founder of Mojang industries, Notch, has revealed that Minecraft has reached a staggering twenty million registered users.
Notch announced the news via his Twitter. He could probably take a money bath, if he was so inclined.
Minecraft started out as a simple block building game, which was released to the public during its alpha and beta stages as a way of funding the full completion of the game. The Minecraft community steadily grew, with fan adoration of the series, and its creator, cermenting its place in popular culture.
In Minecraft you mine materials from the world around you and use them to craft new tools and eventually build your own world, filled with castles and deep, dark dungeons.
