EA supports gay youth, outcry from biggoted fans
EA has joined the It Gets Better project, which supports homosexual teens.
The It Gets Better project is a campaign to support teenagers who are gay, lesbian, bi-sexual or transgendered. There has been a wave of supporters ever since the project started, from both gay and straight people. Electronic Arts is the first video game company to show their support for the cause.
EA released a video which featured interviews with many of its homosexual employees, who told of their own experiences growing up and the abuse they often got from others.
The video, and the campaign itself, has caused a severe outcry from many in the gaming community. One commenter wrote, "This video is disgusting, I'm never buying another EA product ever again, [deleted] homosexual agenda. I urge all parents to keep any EA games from their children to prevent them to be AIDS-spreading, Satan-loving scum."
Congratulations to EA for standing up and supporting a brilliant cause.
