Bioshock 2 To Get Story Add-On
Bioshock 2 will be getting new downloadable content this Autumn, with 2K Games announcing the single-player focused content will include a new playable character.
Minerva's Den "is a substantial addition that will give players more of what they're looking for: more story, more narrative, more gameplay and more of Rapture", says 2K President Christoph Hartman. "The core team has created an exciting product that further enhances the mystery and allure of the world of Rapture. Minerva's Den will be a fitting conclusion to the BioShock 2 saga."
The expansion will see you take control of a new character who teams up with Tenenbaum to "unravel a dictator's stranglehold on a key district." Newly featured will be Rapture Central Computing, a never-before-seen district of the undersea city as well as new weapons, plasmids, splicers and bots and most excitingly, a new never-before-seen Big Daddy.
The expansion will follow on from this weeks' Protector Trials DLC release and the previous Metro City multiplayer map pack. As of yet there is no word of an exact release date for the DLC, nor how much it will cost.
