Bioshock 2 Guide Review

[two_third]

StratGuide

We all sometimes get a little lost with all these big immersive games, we end up missing that ultra power-up hidden under the toilet seat which is hanging from a chandelier in room 5A. Thankfully with a city like Rapture the guys over at BradyGames have done all the searching for us! Excellent.

Bioshock 2 has a lot of things to do throughout the Single-Player experience, a lot of these things being hidden away in all the dark corridors. This guide is the equivalent to, lets say a ‘Hitchhikers Guide to Rapture’ obviously with less weird aliens and poorly done screenplay, yep I totally just took a stab at that film. Right lets open this friendly sized guide up and find out what’s its all about!

Meet the Splicers! The guide walks you through all the enemies which you will come across throughout Rapture and how to defeat them. Rapture now has it’s own filming equipment for finding out all the weaknesses of your enemies. BradyGames have kindly done the work for you however, each enemy will also let you know what bonuses you can gain from doing the research.

Tonics and upgrades to keep you Spliced! There are pages full of all the amazing upgrades which your character can splice up with. All the devices are listed so you can happily go about picking out the ones you want to pick up in the game, helping you spend your ADAM and money wisely. We really don’t want you to waste your hard earned Little Sister hunting!into_the_dive_36-37

Obviously it’s a walkthrough so obviously there is a game walkthrough. BradyGames have gone about drawing maps and pointing out every specific thing that you could go about picking up while playing through each area. Like all the audio diaries? We’ve got that! How about all the safes which are bursting with goods? Check that! And those Power to the people upgrade stations? We’ve got that too. That was our biggest joy from this guide, we could finally play through a Bioshock game with a fully built arsenal of kick-ass* (*User’s kickass arsenal may vary).

We all do enjoy shooting a bunch of dudes in the face, especially when plasmids are involved! The Guide specifically has about 100 pages telling you how to get on top of the multiplayer and being the best at your game. They’ve got tips for general gameplay and all the best places to be in all the maps to really annoy those ‘n00bs online’ (as the kids would say).

With the Ranking system the guide lets you know what you should expect with each level upgrade (plasmids, weapons and upgrades) also letting you know how much Exp you’ve got to get to level up each time.

We were amazed by all the specifics which have been written for all the weapons. If your the guy that is really taking your game online to go a little pro then this is what you are after! It tells you all the details on how many points your going to get when you get a headshot with a specific gun and even the millisecond reload times! I really feel sorry for the guy who was sitting in an office with a stop watch, peace be with you my friend, peace be with you.

Overall Then

This guide is perfect for every single Rapture loving human, if your one of those people who visited Rapture and want even more from your visit then pick up this guide. Whilst we were using and reviewing the guide we found so much more stuff that totally changed the way we ended up playing the game. Also we read all the audio diaries which some of you may of missed, therefore we are even more submersed in the amazement which is Rapture.
